Romans 12:1: Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.

When I remember that we are the ones created by God and that we are not here on our own or for our own, it really changes the thought process about how I feel about living for God. It’s not a chore, it’s a divine privilege.

He made us, therefore we are at His will. All of what we have, what we are, is because of Him. We wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for Him. It’s awfully selfish not to devote our time to God when He put us for His purposes, not our own. Not only did He put us here on earth and provided everything we need for life and health, but He also sent His Son to die for us–which provides for our eternal life and health. Everything we “have” to do is secondary to what God is calling us to do/wants us to do. Prioritize Him.

A relationship with God is THE most important relationship one can have. Cultivate it today!
